Friends,
“The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” (Luke 24:34) These are the sweetest words to every Christian. These words give us hope when our current circumstances scream hopelessness. These words remind us of the redemption that has been purchased on our behalf.
These words also summarize the culmination of the Gospel for the non-Christian. God raised Jesus from the dead and he had even appeared to Simon, the one who denied that he ever knew Jesus. These words proclaim the redemption that has been purchased on their behalf.
It is with this hope of redemption that we able to pray. Please pray with us.
Lenten Breakfast. We had the privilege to participate in a series of Lenten Breakfasts during this Easter season. We want to praise God for giving us the opportunity to eat, enjoy fellowship, and worship with other residents of our neighborhoods.
Vision Reflection. Over the past two months, we have had the opportunity to reflect upon the vision that God has given to us. Please pray that God would cause our church family to grow into a larger community who reflect God’s glory into all of our spheres of influence.
Thank you for your continual prayers,
The People of Immanuel E-Free Church
